Front locker - Elddis Oddysey - leaking

Bought a 2003 model from a well known local dealer.

Put it in storage just after.

Got it out at easter and found the a bucket in the locker was full of water.

I've now discovered that water pours in whenever it rains, complained to the dealer who says it's not supposed to be weatherproof as it's a gas locker.

I don't agree, so I'm having a bit of a struggle with the dealer.

Any thoughts on whether I'm out of order?
 
They all leak, saw a warning sticker on one van telling people not to put any perishables in there. Seemes to be byond their capabilities to make a waterproof locker,the mind boggles.
