Just had this today , if anyone's interested.

Cheers

Dustydog

I wanted to let you know that today is the last chance to sign the fuel duty petition on the Prime Minister's website to reverse the sneaky 2p fuel tax rise that came in January.

Nearly 100,000 people have already signed the petition to get the tax rise reversed.

We only have until lunchtime tomorrow (12th March) to let the government know that fuel tax rises like this are the last thing that our country needs in a recession.

So if you'd like to join me in signing the petition, the link is here:

It's about time they listen to motorists!

Best wishes,

Brendan

Yep correct Rob P, hence the oil companies increase in price they always do it before a budget or a government price increase so their cost is hidden.

Britain again paying for the fat cats and the subsidising the rest of Europe.

Already did my bit Dusty.

Drove past my local Morrisons yesterday at 8-30am then back again at 4pm and they'd snook their price up another penny to 114p.

Around Hereford its as much as 120p.

It's rediculas that a small inependant garage in the village of Bodenham only charges 118p. I would of thought he would of been dearer ( but don't tell him).

You can guarantee that fuel goes up in the budget and road tax will, so I realy get the feeling that paper protests as I call them are only bum fodder ( excuse the graphidity). Direct visable action time is upon us.

With only 100 thousand of us signing up, it's like sticking a pin in the QE2 and waiting for it to sink!!!!

Vive le france bring on the demo's, I'll strap my onions to the drawbar of the caravan stick false number plates on that mimick oh my Darlings car and drive through the congestion zone in London upto No 10 to make my point.
