Fuel gauge

Hi to everybody. I just joined and hope that someone can help me with a problem. I have a euramobil and the petrol gauge is faulty. Sometimes it registers about three quarters even though the tank is full. But more often than not it registers zero. Any help/information would be gratefully received. Many thanks Andrew.
 
Hello Pippip,

I'm not familiar with the make of motorhome you have, but generally the fuel system is part of the van chassis, so I suggest you either ask the motorvan supplier or a dealer for the underlying van chassis.
 
It can only be one of a few reasons:
1.Faulty fuel sender
2. Faulty wire/bad connection.
3.Vehicle computer error.

Whichever it is will need some detailed investigation which will not be cheap !
