Furry Battery Terminal.

Anyone got any idea why the +ve terminal on my 2005 Abbey goes furry ? Is it the battery or the 'van wiring and is there anything I can do to stop it happening.

Just disconnect,clean post and clamp (bit of fine emery paper will do),reassemble and coat with vaseline. Sorted!

Agree with above, but you may want to add a small amount of washing soda to the water you use to wash the terminal, to neutralise any acidity
