All depends on the size of the engine size, tyre size fitted and the make of tyre. I have the VW Sharan and we tow at 36 psi all round which equates to the fully loaded scenario in the Hand book. Best advice, ask Ford or better still the tyre manufacturer.

Yes, when towing always go for the tyre pressure that is recommended for the fully laden condition.
