Garmin Quest Sat. Nav.

I have a Garmin Quest Sat. Nav. and in the C.C.C. BigSite book they list a GPS reference number. I emailed Garmin to see if the Quest will except this number and I received the following reply -

Dear Chris

Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.

Yes to mark a waypoint press and hold OK when on the navigation screen.

Chris,

That either they provided the wrong answer to your question (they told you how to add a location to the Waypoint / POI / Favourites store whilst actually at that place) or maybe the details in your question to them wasn't explicit enough - waypoints are usually associated with the hand held walkers models of the Garmin Quest range.

Might be worth asking the question again, making sure they understand that you have a Car Navigation system.
