Gas Burner

I'm on holiday in the van and one of the three gas burners has gone much lower than normal, the other two being normal. It is so low that it keeps popping out/off. Any ideas? I'm using calor propane for the first time. I did test all the burners before setting off (on propane) and they were all OK.

The van is just 2 years old so this may ? be covered by the warrenty so I will talk to my dealer on return. It would be useful to be forarmed with info though.

Test the burners by lighting all of them.

The flame on each should not diminish as each is lit and should all remain high if the control on each is set to high.

If the flame reduces as each is lit, it is a regulator problem which will need replacing (and is not covered by warranty)

If it does turn out to be a regulator blockage, get the dealer or service guy to fit a Clesse regulator, they do not seem to suffer blocking like the GOK ones.

Chris, if the test has ruled out the regulator, then the fault lies in the burner.#Most likely is the thermocouple either failed or not positioned correctly, or a partial blockage of the gas jet.

Speak to your dealer on your return.
