Hi all can anyone shed light on to why i am getting strong fumes coming from fridge vent on outside of van,you can smell it occasionally in van also, i have stopped running it on the gas because ot this
 
sounds like there could be a problem with either the burner or a blockage in the flue. get it checked out by a ACOPs qualified caravan engineer to be safe.
 
Hi Kevin, your fridge needs a service, the fumes are a result of the burner not performing correctly, this is not really a DIY job as it requires a gas joint to be broken, the gas system will need a drop test carring out on completion.
