I've been looking to buy an Avondale Golden Mayfair 510-5 year 2000, problem is that when checking that the fire works, the following happens, on turning the knob anticlockwise I can hear the igniter ticking, then when it gets to the point where you depress it to ignite the ticking stops, the green light comes on, then after the normal 20 sec turn the knob clockwise to brig it on to full heat, nothing happens, but the green light is still on, the sliders work for the fan and the electric part of the heater works, had a quick look but couldn't get the front off, all gas taps are on, water heater/cooker/fridge all work on gas.
Any and all ideas gratefully accepted.
