gas regulator change over valve

We have just changed our caravan and our old one had a Truma duocomfort gas regulator that allowed the use of a butane and propane cylinder, and we could switch between the two simply by turning a dial on the regulator. Our new van has a single regulator that can only connect to one bottle .So if the gas runs out you have to change the bottle over by hand. Does any body know whether I can replace the new regulator with the old one, which was original fitment on the old van.Alternatively can I buy a new replacement duocomfort valve from Truma?

Hello Sproket
That looks similar, although I have never used it to automatically change over the supply from one cylinder to another,on ours you could turn the dial on the front enabling a choice of cylinder or when one ran out you just turned it to the other cylinder.
Thanks for your help

It looks very similar to the one on my 'van. I use it manually as I prefer to know when one bottle has run out. Mine works in conjunction with the original bulkhead regulator so I guess that so long as the reg you have is compatible with the change over you should be ok. Best to check exact model before buying though.
