Big massive oooops there, 'christinas' - women????

Should have typed:

How many of respondants on this thread are practising christians? Meaning - how many go to church, go to mass etc????

I see another ex clergy member tonight has been sentenced for crimes against young children through the 80's and 90's.

Does one have to attend a place of worship in order to be able to call them selves a "CHRISTIAN"? In my opinion a good Christian is a person who lives by and respects the Christian beliefs and way of life - to attend a church/chapel is purely putting the icing on the cake so to speak.

I do not attend church but I like to think of my self as a Christian. I am a member of a fraternity which has the belief that "all men are equal no matter what creed, colour or religion" and we will accept membership from all male walks of life on the understanding that you worship your idol. If God is your idol then worship God. The reference to a "God" is therefore made by referring to a "Supreme Being" which leaves it open to all denominations. As Dave Allen would say "May your God go with you".

Quote from LMH ... "How many of the respondants on this thread are practising christinas"?

Methinks you are spending far too much time with transvestites. I for one am not a practicing Christina, never have been and have no desire to be. For 40 years I have had a moustache, hence my nickname of Pedro, and that would be a dead giveaway and apart from that if I shaved it off Her Ladyship would kill me.

Ah Gumbo!

Totally, 100% agree with you.

I`m sick to death of our language being stolen and corrupted.

I won`t use the `g` word, the term is homosexual - as defined by my old dictionary - and it is used in a non-derogatory way.

If anyone has a problem with that - well thats THEIR problem.

I see the people of Lesbos have just taken their case to court. As the indigenous population of Lesbos they say it should only be they who should be called Lesbians. Common sense I would have thought.

Wrong.

They lost the case.

This has overtones of the 1998 test case brought by the local football team of Much Sodding In The Marsh, Glouestershire (incidentally, the parish of one of Usenet's foremost theologians) who unsuccessfully argued that they had a monopoly on the term, 'Sodomite'

The teams loyal fans were saddened but not surprised by the Court ruling - and, as the club chairman, Dennis Strayte, commented at the time, "It's just the way things are nowadays - but they'll never stop the terrace chanting of 'Up the Sodomites' whenever we play.

Glad you had a good time, Lisa.

It always amazes me how 'Minority' groups are always happy to welcome ANYONE to their events, yet 'Majority' groups tend to be quite sniffy and elitest...............

As for the bible quotes.............in the words from the wonderful film 'Priscilla Queen Of The Desert', about three drag queens traveling Australia:...........'Get down from that cross.........someone needs the wood!!!'

What fantastic pictures Lisa, - great to see people who have organised and attended a fun and successful event, which everyone can enjoy. Makes a welcome changes from the seemingly relentness escalation in crimes of violence and hatred.

Hurray!

I've often noticed that sodomy and virulent blasphemy appear to be inextricably linked.

I think Jesus put it best - "Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil"

And, let's face it - things don't get much darker or more evil than homosexuality. (imo, of course)

Thank goodness this will all be over soon.

Don't be so quick to judge, Eddie.

As we move into the 21st century it's become clear that medical science is going to alleviate a great deal of the unhappiness experienced by those born into the wrong body - so hurrah for gender reassignment surgery!

I'm currently awaiting species reassignment surgery myself - on the advice of my wife, who insists that I am a pig trapped in the body of a man ;)

In order to qualify for this extremely expensive treatment I have had to spend several years living as a pig - becoming increasingly greedy and rude, and generally unpleasant.

Happily, I have now finally convinced the surgeon and I go into hospital next month for the first stage of the process, which is the formation of the snout.

I expect some ridicule from unenlightened persons, especially while I'm in the transition stage of half man, half pig - but it will be worth it when the transformation is complete and I'm happily snuffling around in my new sty (I'm getting a grant for that from the EC minorities support fund)

So, to encourage other piggish men out there - don't be afraid to embrace what you really are! Be proud, be piggish, be free.

Takes a lot of balls to dress like that....

Thanks for posting the pics, if I see any when I'm having a drink in the city centre at the weekends I'l keep my back to the wall.
