We are thinking of buying a german caravan. I would be grateful for any comments with regard to the door being on the opposite side to British vans, problems on sites etc. Many thanks
 
Hi Nick, as far as I can tell from other postings, Euro vans seem to be better made than UK ones, as you never see any complaints about build quality etc. With regard to the door on the left - no problems other than watchout at the roadside as following traffic can easily bash into it if the door's not properly secured, and when pitching on formalised commercial or some club sites you may find yourselves looking directly into your neighbour's van. Not a problem on the continent though!
