Going over on tunnel on 2nd June, first visit Bruges for 2 days then would like to do a section of Rhine, then Black forest, onto Salzburg then down to Venice. We intend to use ACSI sites for the majority of the trip.Have been all over France but never to these countries with the van.Any suggestions as to sites and routes would be greatly appreciated. We are away for 30 days have looked at the distance it seems OK in the time that we have or does anyone think it is a bit over ambitious?Any tips on driving in these countries would be good,I nitice that speed limit in Germany with a van is 50MPH is this law rigidly enforced as would like to do 60 or just below.
Thanks

The same speed limit applies to Austria if the gross train weight is over 3500kg, and in Italy, too. As there is no general speed limit for solo cars on German motorways, they are usually only enforced on where signposted, but then fairly rigidly. If you drive with the flow of HGV traffic which is limited to the same 80km/h, but usually goes a bit faster on delimited stretches, you should be alright.
