Getting a Status 315 apart

I want to change the c**p cable installed on the 315 in my Bailey Pageant Majestic for a better sat-type cable (i.e. one with less loss and a foil screen) so that I don't get pixelation on the DTTV.

I've had the thing off its base on the 'van roof but I'll be blowed if I can find how to get the two halves apart so I can change the cable.

Anyone tried successfully?
