Weve been up to Wensleydale in the North Yorkshire dales this last weekend. A beautiful part of the world.Glad to be a Yorkshireman and proud of it !!!!!!!

i know what you mean. As an exiled tyke living near Stonehenge, I went to York in June and I was in Heaven, decent beer, friendly people and my accent was getting broader by the minute!

Actually I live in South Yorkshire,and moved from West Yorkshire about 20 years ago with work.Even now people will ask "Youre not from round here,where do you come from ?"

as long as you have the word Yorkshire in your address and you were born here then your Yorkshireman.

I have to agree. We went to Grassington at Easter and were bowled over by how beautiful the area is. Chock-a-block full of pubs selling great ale at reasonable strengths. Very friendly and helpful locals.

It's almost as good as Wales.
