Angus I made reference to this point previously regarding the use of methane gas to produce electricity. I also made reference to the waste of gas being constantly burnt at the Corus (assume still trading as Corus) works in Port Talbot. Prior to natural gas this waste gas was fed into the grid and sufficient was produced to feed the area with gas from Port Talbot down to west Wales. Now it is being burnt off into the atmosphere.
