Hi, we used to go to Rivendale quite a lot, but stopped about 18 months ago, it used to be a lovely site, but now it's more like a gypsy camp, there are too many 'residential' caravans, lots with masses of plant pots, slabbed areas, dirty unkept awnings.

it really has gone down hill dramatically over the past couple of years.

Sorry to dissapoint anyone, but we certainly won't be returning in the near future!

Rivendale is a nice site, staff are freindly and plenty of walks in the area, Dovedale is very nice and Tissington Loads of shops including a Sainsbury's to find follow the through traffic its hidden away, Right at the Homebase.. Have fun and enjoy.

just came back from rivendale had a great weekend great place to go to very clean toilets and friendly staff.good bar as well and very reasonable prices. will definately be returning. ps dont forget to take a torch as very low lighting.
