golfing caravaners

There are a number of golfers who caravan and caravaners who golf. Problem is finding cheap reasonable courses when away. (£35 a round is not my idea of fun!). My idea here is list a few courses near club sites for others info. Rates are for seniors and 9 holes.
Sandringham both clubs golf at The Eagles golf centre, Kings Lynn £8 Tight well kept course with lots of trees.
Oxford CCC Hinksey heights- the spires course. £8 excellent course with lovely views over teh city.
Maidstone CC Upchurch riverside near rainham. £6. good parkland course.
Wolverly CCC Himley Park. £6 Excellent parkland with wide fairways
Bridgnorth CC Half penny green. £8 Developing course overlooking an airfield but quiet. Challenging.

Can anyone add to the list please?

Hi

There is a cc site on Anglesy, its the site without a toliet block that's close to a golf course, seem to remember the wardens there organising some golf at the local course. There's also the new Craig y Don at Harlech that's near a golf course. We're not golfers so can't comment on prices. Hope this helps

Hello Waffler,
The CC site at Incleboro Fields Cromer is right in the middle of a golf course, and you can step out of the van onto the first tee.I don't the price for a round.
I love my golf, and the van but I don't mix them both as the OH would go ballistic if I started putting the clubs in the van.Such is life!!!!
Cheers Richard
