⇦ off in 1 hour to sunny Minehead so I don't want any arguing until I get back. Save all the controversial stuff until Tuesday. Thanking you all in anticipation. heheh.
His Lordship.
His Lordship.
Colin, I saw a guy in the supermarket the other day in a red shirt. A very cheerful chappie came over and said ( in a broad scouse accent and clearly a long way from home ) "I like yer shirt mate (nudge-nudge nowhatImean)". The shirt man smiled and walked away and thats when I spotted the Prince of Wales feathers ! I really like red shirts, they are nearly as good as white ones !Don't worry Lord B I will stand up for you should there be any adverse comments. After all you did come to the defence of the Welsh recently. As was once said - "If you can help someone then your life would not be in vain" Have a good break, I am sure that all your aides will manage to keep the estate running in your absence.
pssstttttt Colin, red shirts hide the blood ;O)To Jim and Pauline - I have only just read your reply regarding the wearing of red shirts with the Prince of Wales feathers. As I am Welsh and we generally have a very caring and understanding nature I have received your comments in a light hearted manner assuming it was meant as a joke. However as Lord B so rightly pointed out recently we can also be easily riled. therefore all I can say be careful and keep one eye open at all times as you may feel the hot breath of the DRAGON on you. Incidently why, I presume as an English man, are you wearing a Welsh shirt? - presumabley too embarressed to wear a white one - as they say white is the sign of a coward. However in conclusion may I wish you well and we could possibly adopt you into Wales if you play your cards right - obviously not rugby by last years standards. Pob Hwll
No no Colin, please put your Dragon back on his chain, I intended no slight on your great nation. It was not me wearing the red shirt but another customer (we get all sorts around here!) and the Liverpool guy had clearly mistaken him for a supporter of a certain football club. As for the men in white, well you had better talk to the Aussie cricket team about that! (Though we did have 2 Jones in the team so you didnt feel left out!)To Jim and Pauline - I have only just read your reply regarding the wearing of red shirts with the Prince of Wales feathers.
