Good bit of kit ?

Hello Al,
Yes this is a device I have seen before. It is in essence an alternative form of friction pad stabaliser, and as such it would tend to resist swaying, however its quite a larg and heavy object which relative to normal UK systems adds quite a lot to the nose load, adn we know the issues that some caravanners have with that.

I don't know of any UK based importer, so I suspect it isn't actually availablbe or approved for use in the EU.

Looks a bit like the old trapezium system that is no longer made, you are quite right on the weight issue John, and it looks like it could be a bit of a devil to fit and use. I have also just discovered that it is now legal to have electric braking systems on UK vans, as used in the U.S. if memory serves me right there use used to be illegal here in the U.K.

I used to use the trapezium for a long time and found it to be very good. Ok its a bit big, but i never felt a lorry or bus going past me on the motorway at all. Its very clever how it works but brilliant in use, I thought it was banned in the uk on certain cars ?
