Good site for young kids?

Hi all

We took our 5-year-old grandson for his first trip in a touring caravan last week. Unfortunately, it poured with rain the whole time! We managed to enjoy ourselves in spite of this but he still prefers his other grandparents' static caravan at Scarborough. I'm determined to convert him to touring & I'd like to find a site that would really appeal to a 5-year-old boy without driving his grandparents up the wall! I've read some posts about great sites for children but they all seem a long way from South Yorkshire where we live (Rotherham/Sheffield).

He is asking "are we there yet?" after 15 mins so we don't want to venture too far. Can anyone suggest anywhere?

Thanks

Sue

Hi

have you thought about Clumber Park CC site? I've been to Clumber but never stayed on the site, was recommended it by a gent when we stayed at Chatsworth.

there is a review here: http://www.ukcampsites.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=3543

shouldn't be too far from you either!

its in leicestershire and the web address is www.rutlandcaravanandcamping.co.uk
