We are in our 3rd season of touring and have been impressed with almost all the sites we've been to, mainly in the South West or West Wales.

However, we are only an hour from Gower but have not yet gone there because no one can advise us on a nice site. A few, such as Gower Farm, seem to have very ropey reviews.

We have 2 young boys, love beaches, and would like clean facilities. Not at all bothered about a pool, clubhouse, site shop etc. Could even manage without EHU at a push.

Any advice welcome.

Jo - I would have thought that the ideal site for you having read your spec. for a site would be Pembrey CC site. It is next to the Pembrey Country Park with miles of unspoilt beach, plenty of activity in the park for the youngsters, coastal cycle path, etc. etc. It is also central for Swansea/Cardiff/Porthcawl to the east and Tenby/Saundersfoot to the west. Only downside is if the weather is bad there is nothing there for wet weather entertainment.
