Hi Phillip - I've found Humbrol to be very good, easy to apply, flows well and is hard wearing. Available from most model shops or ebay. Wait for warm weather! - John
Hi Phillip on our Ace the grab handles really did look shabby so my answer was remove them and rub them down and a can of aerosol at the ready for a respray
Being a van form the Swift group was easy to get the right colour.
I use a primer filler first to remove the textured finish from the handles then i used ford diamond white in an aerosol to finish. They still look fab now and a pretty good colour match.
I believe there is a special primer for use on plastic but didnt know this at the time but has not been a problem.
I would like to fit the chrome ones as on the sterling vans as i have the same front panel but priorities say other things first.Tyres due for change this year unfortunately.
