Grande-Synthe Dunkerque

Looking on Google maps the Auchen supermarket seems to have plenty of parking, has anyone taken a car and caravan in here and do you know if you could park up for the night. Thanks.

.......I did just that last Friday June 29th.
You can access the fuel station and the hypermarket with a car and caravan but I would not stay there overnight.
I stocked up with diesel at €1.28/litre and my favourite Pelforth beer.
I tried to buy a couple of the illusive breathalyser kits but they were sold out.
They were £6 on the ferry

......no way will I pay that price, as they are sold for €1.50 in France if you can find them

Some people, on other forums, say they stay overnight on supermarket car parks, but personally I'd prefer to spend my night with the security of other units around me. There is parking on the port at Dunkerque, and well lit service stations on the autoroute where many people stay overnight. Both, of these, I would have thought, would be better than spending a night alone on a dark supermarket car park.
