GRAZ TO KLAGENFURT MOUNTAIN PASS

I am travelling through Austria to Venice & have noticed a mountain pass of which there is some uncertainty in the caravan Club handbook as to whether it is suitable for caravans. It is on the A2 [E66] between Graz & Klagenfurt [actually it is between Graz & Wolfsburg] Has anyone travelled that way with a caravan who can let me know if we will be OK?

Thanks

John

There are no mountain passes between Graz and Klagenfurt if you intend to use the motorway. Only if you drive down the B70 which runs more or less parallel to the A2 is there one 10% gradient, the Griffner Berg, between St. Andr

I agree with Lutz. We have travelled between Graz and Klagenfurt on the motorway a few times with the caravan and there is no mountain pass.
