hi all,

we are going to germany {rhein vally)in september, we have heard something about a green card, can anyone please tell me what the card is for and where i can get one.

Do you mean the permits you now need to enter various German cities? These work rather like the Low Emissions Zone in London. Sorry can't remember the exact details bit if you Google it it should come up.

otherwise a Green card is a document from your insurance company confirming your insurance is going to be valid abroad. If your insurance company is like mine it is no longer a separate document. The policy is worded something like 'Green Card cover' and all the details are in my policy.
