Hi everyone, I looking to buy a new ground sheet, I've seen one at my local dealer, off the roll £2.54 per foot. Does anyone know if this is a good price? I live near Stratford, Warks. Many thanks

Marie, if its the aerated type (holes joined together with rubbery plastic) after it's been down for a few days the grass grows thru it, and it rips up the new growth when oyu lift the groundsheet.Water and mud also come up thru the holes.I don't use a ground sheet at all.

Hi Marie

More and more sites are saying 'no groundsheets' or they must be removed by 10.a.m. which is very annoying if you have things stored on them. We too don't use one now and don't really miss it or the mess when trying to pack it away. It would be different though if you were needing to sleep in an awning.Chris

the price is about average but you can get away with less by choosing to cover only only heavy walking areas
