Guess What - I'm Back

You can't keep an old dog down - I AM BACK.

We sold our caravan in February as my wife found it too stressful with her health problems - well the powers that be have managed to stabalise her ailments with medication and now do not wish to see her again, unless she has problems, for a further three months. As we have had the bug for caravanning for almost 43 years we have gone out and bought a second hand motor home - less stressful and easier for the both of us. We are taking delivery next week so will be out and about in the very near future. If you see a Swift Royale 610 with a mature "good looking Welsh couple with dog" then it could be us. Hopefully our first trip will be to Lucksall so Lord B. you had better hide.

I've been in contact with Karen and she's going to give me a ring on the morning of your arrival so I can go and help her close and lock the gate

..... and you be careful. Remember what happened the last time you went over to a motor home

Glad to hear your better half has improved. She needs to to keep you in check.
If I'm driving around and spot a Swift Royale 610 with a good looking Welsh couple, Welsh lady and Welsh Collie in the front, I'll know it's you

Welcome back Colin.
I am glad your wife has her health problems sorted out after such a bad time and that you both have returned to your chosen hobby.

Good luck with the Motorhome and look forward to some more relaxing times in it.

Colin that's really really good news, both because your OH has recovered, and you can both enjoy a hobby/past-time again.
Good luck to you both, nice to hear good news.
Oh and welcome back.

Welcome back Colin - great news that your back 'in the field'...........and that your good lady is better too. No doubt you're both relieved that the Doctors have been able to sort her out.

Enjoy your new motorhome, but stay on this Forum, won't you!

Hi All - thank you for your kind messages of welcome and concern for my wife's health - she is very much better now that they have managed to stabalise her medication.. We have missed the freedom and enjoyment of caravanning so decided to take the plunge again. As things are at the moment we will be taking delivery sometime next week (full service, habitation check and PDI) and then we will be disappearing into the sunset (if we do have sun

) in our second hand Swift Royale (Lord B. has his stately home so we must keep up with society

)

Once again thank you one and all.

Regards

Colin

Hiya Colin, it's great to have you back in the fold even though you have ceased to be a tugger and have become Royale.
I'm sure that friendly caravanners will give you a lift to the chippy now and again to save you from moving your motorhome off site and losing your pitch
