Hail Damage

I live in France with my Senator Indiana. It recently suffered damage during a hail storm resulting in all the roof openings being smashed and the roof and one side of the van collecting numerous indendations.

Top marks to Bailey who got me new windows (via my dealer in Dorset) within 10 days but my question now is how do I get the van repaired. It's insured via a French insurer but do I have to take it back to the UK for repair or will any good caravan repairer in France be able to do it? Will it mean new panels or is it possible to suck the dents out?

Hi Paul, sorry to hear about your damage. On cases similar to this which I have heard about in the past, it usually involved a replacement roof, and a new side fitted over the top of the damaged one, in which case it's almost certain that it will need to be carried out by a UK dealer.
