Hal Locate Tracker

Can you tell me please .Is there anybody on the Forum that has a Hal Locate Tracker fitted to their caravan. If so any problems with Hal Locate.

Hi Sir Roger,

We have the HAL Locate fitted since 2009 and have had no problems apart from the location of the aerial. Once this was positioned correctly it has worked fine (touch wood). We sometimes have to disarm the system a number of times due to poor signal reception, we usually find out once we get a call from the monitoring service.

Andy . Its really Hal Locate themselves I have the problem the tracker works fine but I never seem to get a reminder to say its due or a receipt when Ive paid it . Perhaps Im old fashioned but surely good business to at least get a receipt for goods bought

Can't really help you there I'm afraid as we took out a 5 year subscription so won't find out until next year whether we get a reminder or not.
