Hi my elddis typhoon gt caravans handbrake has broken im looking at replacing it myself has anyone else done this job if so has anyone got any advice or is there anywhere on the internet i can find out how to do it thanks Matt
 
When you pull the handbrake handle up it doesn't do anything i have had a look underneath and the ratchet part doesn't seem to engage at all look like a couple of teeth have broken off it. Thought it might need a new handle set which i have seen for £59 but been told to have it done there would be £200 plus vat just for labour and as money is tight didn't know if its a job i could do myself hope this helps thanks Matt
