Hang Christmas lights in awning gutter

Hi wondering if I can buy some awning gutter clips so I can hang Christmas lights along the van ?

Some caravan sites might not let you put christmas lights on your van so i would check the rules on there website

You could buy one of those awning protector strips ,

punch holes every few inches, then tie a string of LED lights along it with cable ties or equivalent. Then once on site just thread it in! Roll it back up after the 12th night and store it for next year!

Just carefully place lights in rail and cut off cable ties about 2" (50mm) long, bend in half place in rail with the lights and they will stay there.

This is also where an external mains socket comes in handy - although as above I suspect that the thin supply to outdoor LED strings would pass though the window without creating a problem

We have threaded the lights along the rail and then used sticky tape to hold them in place. Careful to keep the sticky tape on the actual aluminium strip otherwise it is a devil of a job to remove the marks afterwards.
The rail protector strip is probably the best idea I have come across as it will then have a dual function.

as described designed for extra holes in leather belt, but would make light work of the number of holes you might need in the strip. Also you can size the hole to match the size of the cable ties. Happy crafting!
