Happiness is a CL in November?

At East Prawle in Devon. The Retreat is a great back to basics site. Friendly owner. Bit of a tough tow in but worth the effort. Sea view from lounge. No others here this time of year. Recommended, assuming you don't have an 8ft van that is πŸ™‚.

I must admit it is nice to get away in the Autum / Winter but I do prefer a hardstanding pitch, with a nice warm pub nearby.

Hutch, Donnewell Farm at Sedgefield. Fully serviced Hardstanding and a not too long walk to Sedgefield up a car free Lane. Great for the chariot.

I see that hardstanding is often a more reliable option for sure. This particular site seems very well-drained with pretty good solid grass cover. Looks nice at minute, lush and green. Cross country to the pitch is easy. Not much use is a factor. No mud bath generated outside. But I’m sure some sites not always so good,

Brave man towing out to Prawle. My parents kept a pub there when there was 2 ( not the Pig's). Stunning part of the coast !
