Happy at last !

Hi , Glad to say that I have finally completed my little lunar 490/4 .
This was bought just before Christmas and unfortunately required quite a bit of work , but after fitting a new boiler , motor mover bearings and replacing the toilet floor and cassette toilet door, it is now ready for the holidays . Thanks to everyone here who offered help , advice and much needed support.

Nice job. What did you use to cover the shower walls?

The shower walls were covered with plastic honeycomb bathroom panels. Like everything now , expensive . 700mm ×700mm enclosure/ 3 walls came to £152

At least you will be confident about your build quality which exceeds the original standard.

Lunar are a good enough unit , but let down by a few design faults. Like any product I suppose . I work as an aircraft fitter and today a lot of engineers are all ears and no engines . Good at the talk but unable to walk the walk.
