Happy Easter!

Just a quick post to wish all our Practical Caravan readers and forum members a very happy Easter! From all at Practical Caravan, wherever you are and wherever you're heading for the long weekend, have a lovely time.

Not easter yet. But to all those setting off for a long weekend, (or staying at home), have a lovely time.

(I'll be back on Sunday with Easter greetings)

what is a holiday Easter weekend!!!! never had one of those  always been working same as this one 🀒 still looking on the bright side  I retire in 2 weeks so every weekend will be a 7day holiday weekend :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Good luck to you Colin. When you retire you go away when everyone else is at work ie weekdays not weekends.

Only problem with being retired is it's a hard life trying to get the holidays in ( don't know how I found time to go to work ).

Congratulations on your retirement. What a good time of year to do it. Have the best time.

Colin, wishing you a very happy retirement, when you eventually finish work in 2 weeks time! I can thoroughly recommend retirement, and although I retired early, and have not worked for 7 years, there is never a day goes by without me thanking my lucky stars I don't have to go out to work any more!

I think the most brilliant thing about being retired is the knowledge that if you wake up to find it's a lovely day, you can just chuck everything in the 'van and take off somewhere! I think since I got back into caravanning I've only attended one pre-booked meet, the other 7 trips have all been spur-of-the-moment outings. That's the best thing about caravanning. What's the point of booking up to go somewhere, and spend a week in inclement weather, when you can disappear at the drop of a hat when the weather forecast is looking more hopeful? I spent too many years doing that, especially when most of my days off were midweek!
