There is a St Georges Day Parade in the Black Country as usual despite the efforts of the local authority to put the mockers on it and a 'sing song with patriotic songs' in another local market place according to our local paper.
I wonder if the English are beginning to wake up at long last?
I'm English because I was born here but in terms of lineage I'm Anglo- Irish and I wish all true Englishmen as good a day and evening as I had on St Patricks
I noticed that Google who displayed on their search page the Saltaire on St Andrews day, a harp design on St Patricks day and some leeks on St Davids day have excelled themselves for St Georges Day and done - nothing!
