hard standing

Hi,

going away this weekend on a hard standing for the first time. What sort of pegs are best to secure the awning? All advice gratefully received.

Steel pegs without doubt. I use a claw hammer, handy for putting the pegs in and pulling them out.

Pyramid do a hard standing peg set that comes with a claw hammer. Only trouble is that I think you would need two sets for most awnings. I have just about enough for my porch awning in one set. Other thing is that some sites actually have concrete/cement pitches which means either no awning or having to position the caravan at the edge of the pitch (if allowed) to use an awning.
