Your insurance company for a quote excluding theft !!!. Just thinking about it. Our van is stored on a Gold Award site it has alko wheel locks. It is also fitted with the hitch lock. When we go away we are mainly on CC sites with the alko fitted.

So I was just thinking we pay out for locks, secure storage and stay on relatively secure sites. Is the chance of theft now a Low, Medium or High Risk ??

Sounds like a stupid thing to do Frank, but why not try it and let us know the answer.

1) Hitch Locks are next to useless as a deterent.

2) Storage sites are regularly broken into and caravans stolen, several at a time.

3) Using MAINLY CC sites means you must also use others less secure.

4) "Alko Secure" is not as secure as you seem to believe.(see link)

5) You already receive discounts for using recomended security devices, trackers, CASSOA storage etc.

Low, Medium or High Risk, it's too big a gamble for most people to take.

Would you be brave enough to risk it?

YES Just making sure I have everything covered like 3 rd Party etc.
