I was talking to a retired electrician / gas engineer today also qualified in LPG.
He says when changing the gas cylinder or working on a gas item it is imperative to close the gas cylinder valve,
the bulkhead mounted master gas valve,
and the individual equipment isolation valves.
He says to do anything else will result in air getting into the gas pipes creating a highly combustible mixture which could result in an explosion
In all my caravanning years I have only turned off the cylinder valve when swapping for a new one.
Have I been a fool all these years  :woohoo:
Please be honest B)
