Hdmi not responding

Hi all,

I disconnected my bedroom panasonic vera to put up a tv bracket but when all back together sky on hdmi 1 does not recognise and my cctv on hdmi 2 is the same.

After switching on and off i get the sky to work but nothing on hdmi 2 although the cctv hard drive all seems to be as norm.

Weird as all was fine before i disconected tv.

Any ideas?

Did you try connecting the HDMI for CCTV up to HDMI 1 to test? If it works, then try and connect Sky up to HDMI 2. If they both work leave it alone. 🙂

Is the OP expecting automatic switchover? If so he should try doing it manually to prove whether it works or not.

We have a HDMI combiner and splitter in our caravan to enable us to watch TV or Netflix on either TV. Also have a splitter at home.

Tried everything no auto switch between any of the 3 hdmi ports, very weird, all equipment works on other tv wih no issues at all.

Nothing will switch between any hdmi port .

Only way i have got something to work is to select hdmi 1 to take priority when tv switches on .

If i try select hdmi 2 then try go back to hdmi 1 its a black screen with no sound so tv off and back on to select hdmi 1.

Very weird, new tv required me thinks..

Have you tried a brand new HDMI lead to test as the HDMI lead could be faulty?

Yip i tried a brand new one and also one from my main tv.👍
