Heading to Santander in August

Never been to that part of spain and never towed a caravan that far either. Anyone have any tips or hints that they can share?

We went there Easter 2000, and we didn't see any other Brits for 2 weeks. It is very Spanish, very picturesque, very pleasant. One morning we drove up into the mountains and discovered snow 1 metre deep, then the same afternoon we were on the beach and it was 30

At least we will have our Daughter who is taking A level (if thats what they are now)Spanish, hence the reason for the holiday.

Hi Steve,

We adore the Northern coast of Spain, it's truly great - the Basque region and their food, the Picos de Europa mountains (great for walking) in the middle, Rioja and Navarra just to the South, and to the East is Galicia (Green Spain) and the Albari
 
And go by ferry Portsmouth to wherever!
AHA - but I have just discovered that you can now only go by P&O to Bilbao 🙁

Guess which company we were booked with ?

Has anyone else been caught this way yet ? Will P&O manage to take us ? After all we have already booked - and Paid too
