we're looking for a small wattage 240v electric heater for the van. The ones we've tried so far are a bit overpowering. Has anybody found a practicle one? Thanks
 
We have a 600W dimplex heater with thermostat that is intended for a greenhouse etc.This is on a timer in the winter and keeps the van aired.Prior to the electric Truma we used it on cold nights while sleeping
 
I use a 500watt greenhouse heater with thermostat.

DON'T go for a 2k heater, as 2k will require 8amps on your hookup.
