Has anybody seen a insert to keep the sun out, similar to the motor caravan Silver Screens Type that fit on the inside.

I assume your Heki roof vent is your Heki sunroof. I have two Heki sunroof's in my Swift Conqueror. Both have a flyscreen which slides accross and hooks onto a night blind which slides accross the other way. We use the night blind to keep out bright sunlight if needed.
