Hello and thank you

Hi, I finally got the courage to join the forum after 2 yrs of following it and seeking advice.

We have been caravanning for 7 yrs although as a child I was initiated as a baby. We have a Fleetwood Sonata/Kia Carens combi.

My family laugh at me because they think I am sad reading these forum things however, thanks to your forum we now have a working water pump to go away with at Easter even though we have just had the annual service......the old man is not acknowledging that it was me that found the solution! But anyway, thanks chaps 🙂

Hi Gillian

What were you scared of?

We enjoy reading posts from new members as much as we do those from our old stagers because it's always nice to get a fresh perspective on things.

It's great that you finally joined us anyway and after seven years of caravanning and childhood memories no doubt you will have one or two tips to pass on because we learn from each other.

I often think about the people who browse our forum but hesitate to join us, as long as the forum is of use to them it doesn't matter but it's always nice to hear from them if they overcome their shyness.

Hi Gillian.

I share the same views as parksy.

Don't worry about asking even the simplest question. There will always be one of us who can offer advice. Although I've been caravanning for 28 years and towing trailers for 33 years I can even pick up some good tips off the forum.

I got to meet a forum contributer for the first time in 5 years of chatting away on the forum the other day and he was just as I imagined him to be from our forum chatter.

I enjoy caravanning so much that for the last two years, I've benn full timing in our van. Great to get out of the treadmill of the rat race. Lost all those utility bills, and cold callers.

Happy caravanning.

Steve L.
