Hi Everyone

A very green newbie from Doncaster here.

Just bought first van and I am petrified I've done the wrong thing as it all seems so alien to me.
Hopefully it's just first time nerves xxxx

Hi Spottie, welcome to the forum and don't worry, we were all nervous newbies once.
The gentle art of caravanning may appear to be a bit confusing at first but if there's anything that you're not sure about just ask, the only daft question is the one that you should have asked- but didn't.
Which caravan did you buy and what do you want to know first? ......

Hi Spottie, now Breathe. That's great. It is very confusing and scary at first but after a few trips out you'll wonder what you were worried about. As parksy said ask away, everyone on here is very helpful.

OH NO SPOTTIE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!!!

Now I will tell you,,,,,,,,,,

you have just entered into the wonderful world of caravaning, the first couple of trips will be did I do this ,did I do that, how do you do that , how does that work

BUT you will soon learn to sit back with a beer/wine and laugh your socks off
You can almost guarantee even the seasoned vanners amongst us still make mistake's once and a while, I do.

Just take it in your stride and enjoy, it really is a wonderful experience, now where's those question you have.

Welcome Spottie.
Don't panic .Good decision.
Have you joined one of the club's?

The Caravan Club run some first class caravan towing courses throughout the country. Usually only ever and half days.
You get hands on and technical explanations. Basically how to tow safely and easily to hitching up and setting up.
Good luck.
