Hello from a Cold Hampshire tonight.

Hi, I am new to the forum but not to caravaning. We are a family of 4 plus our four legged friend. We caravan in France and here in the UK. We have always stuck to caravaning in the season but this year we are breaking the mould and we are off in February and we are planning to go away Christmas/ New Year time. We have a 2012 Peg 2 Verona and tow with VW Touareg R Line.

Love the car and the caravan It gives us quality family time away from the hassle of everyday life ๐Ÿ˜‰

I look forward to reading your posts.

Hi seashells. Welcome to the forum. Pretty nippy here in the East Midlands too. Winter Caravanning is great as long as it's not too windy. Do keep posting

Welcome from another Hampshire Hog .......hope you enjoy the forum ๐Ÿ™‚
I grew up on a farm near Wickham but now live in West Sussex and also caravan in the UK and Europe.
It is always good to hear of any campsites or areas you have found to be good whilst on your travels......you can share them with everyone on here.

I set off for Andalucia this weekend with the caravan for 6 weeks...........heading due south in search of the Sun :cheer:

Welcome to the Forum Seashells
We also use the van through the winter months. Mind you I'm towing with a Focus which is more than adequate for the van but wouldn't like soft wet grass pitches. Consequently we always take care to book hard standing at this time of the year.
Our next trip is early February so looking forwards to that.
Best wishes Brian
