Hello from a returner to Towing

Hello, we have been owners of a tourer for 35 years. Included in this were ten years with a static. Although we did not give up our tourer. Now sold the static and returned to our little charisma 220 (2001) and looking forward to 2011 in north Northumberland. Nice feeling to be back with a tourer and not in the wallet of park owners.

Good luck and happy finding of CLs and CSs in 2011.

Kindest regards

Hello Murtongirl, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum and congratulations on your return to the fold.
With your years of experience you will be able to pass on a few tips and being an ex static owner puts you in a good position to explain the pitfalls to the occasional prospective static buyer who strays onto this forum

Hi and welcome it is a great feeling to be back to a touring caravan we too had a static van for 10 years now we have children we felt that a touring van was much better at giving us family time together. Also my hubby also felt that giving a park owner money was now beyond a joke we are now entering our 2nd year touring and looking forward to a great year.

Enjoy your touring.

Olive and family
