We ,(David & Sheila), are hoping to rejoin the caravan ownership in the near future.
For the last 10 yrs we offered gåte holidays here in France and had no time to caravan ourselves. Before leaving the UK we had ten years' of caravanning, mostly in France with an old Eccles.
With advancing age we think something on the lines of an Eriba would be matched well to our Octavia 1 Tdi. However we are somewhat staggered by the prices being asked. In fact caravans are well out numbered by camper-vans here, so choice is limited. Unfortunately due to French regulations being really harsh it is very difficult to get a Brit. spec 'van re-registered so will persevere with our search here. Not made any easier with the pathetic French websites, and as for their magazines, well forget it !
Can't wait to get rolling again.
