Hello from Chester,,

Hi, just thought I would say hello and introduce myself!!

I am Sharron, and have a 15 month old boy called Mac (hence my username).

We bought our first caravan last year and although we haven't got to use it much, are hoping to get out loads this year!!

I love the outdoor life, and it seems to have passed to our son already as he is at his happiest when running round outside!! And me when the fresh air has worn him out!!

Hope to get lots of tips advice and hopefully find lots of good sites to visit!!

Hi Sharon, welcome. You've chosen a magic environment to bring up young Mac.
My children, now 47 and 49 grew up with our tourers, and went to parts of the UK that they never would have seen otherwise.
Sadly, neither of them caravan now, but we are still at it!

Hi Emmerson
thanks for the reply!! I think it's going to be a fab way to grow up and hopefully he will meet loads if new friends on the way (and us too!!)
Just need to have a couple of days off work to try it out!!

This website and forum is a great place to exchange tips and ideas and also to make friends with fellow caravanners and I hope that you will like using it.

Hi Sharron and Nac. Welcome to the forum. Our youngest grandson is 18months and loves the "Cakkaman" as he calls it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hi Sharon and Mac

Congratulations on having your first caravan.

I bought my first caravan when my daughter was born. It was the only way at that time we could afford a holiday. We've never looked back. Mac will have the time of his life and learn more about things than he ever would sitting by a Benidorm pool!

Happy caravanning
