After probably 2 years of deciding if we should buy a caravan, would we use it enough to warrant the out lay etc etc, we've finally done...we are soon to pick up our first caravan, and we are 'chomping at the bit' to get away for our first few weekends away.
Some of the tips on these forums have been very good...I didn't know my new shiny black tow ball needs to be rubbed down and should be silver for example!
Hopefully we will be able to add our own pearls of wisdom in the near future
